This time, apprenticeship year 2018 starts with a record figure. Twenty-five apprentices have started their apprenticeship at Lippert GmbH & Co. KG on September 1st, 2018. The novices were welcomed by Alfons Haimerl, head of human resources department – subsequently as well Hubert Schug, managing director and owner, welcomed the new apprentices. After the company presentation by CTO Winfried Hein and a factory tour with the trainers (Markus Baumer, Michael Thaller and Tobias Busch) a general round of introductions with master-mechanics, trainers and Youth and Apprentices Representatives took place. After having been equipped with LIPPERT working clothes, the new apprentices were received in their appropriate departments and welcomed again.

For years, LIPPERT has been setting a high value on a high-quality operational training in order to ascertain that well-qualified subject matter experts will be available in the future.

Currently, at LIPPERT, a total of 51 apprentices are doing their apprenticeship in eight occupations that require training, among them two apprentices doing a combined apprenticeship and degree programme. On the one hand as a bachelor in mechanical engineering combined with an apprenticeship as industrial mechanic and, on the other hand, a bachelor in electronical and information engineering combined with an apprenticeship as electronic technician for automation technology.
