Automation of the high-opressure casting process

Example – Layout of an automated high-pressure casting system for toilet bowls:
Handling robots equipped with a special gripper system take over the demolding of pressure-cast articles after receiving a request signal from the casting machine.

Processing stations:
Additional processing steps such as e.g. hole punching, adhesive-slip application or the extraction of excess water or excess slip can be defined and incorporated as needed.

Storage shelf system for presolidification: The system also includes a central storage shelf for interim presolidification storage of the pressure-cast articles. After spending a user-defined dwell period (drying time) in the shelf or predryer, the articles are forwarded to the processing section.
If necessary, the articles can also be retrieved and subsequently returned to the shelf for any necessary fettling and/or decorating works while still green.
