Waste-water-treatment
Consistently high filtration capacity, lower waste-water costs

Preconditioning of waste-water, glaze and sundry ceramic supensions:
For use in the treatment of suspensions, an innovative new rotary filtration system that satisfies the stringent requirements of the ceramic industry better than other know systems is now available for installation.
The system ist just right for cleaning up water from grinding, polishing, cutting and washing processes and for concentrating glazes and sklips.

The system:
Hollow, porous ceramic disks are assembled into filter assemblies and threaded onto a likewise hollow shaft with spacers between them. The waste-water flows all around and through the disks, and the thusly filtered water flows out through the hollow disk and shaft.
The ceramic disks are rotated to keep solids from settling onto the surfacees of the filters. Programmable backflushing with filtrate or fresh water ensures excellent regeneration of the filter medium.

Main benefits:

  • Consistently high filtration rates over long periods of time
  • Very long-lasting filter disks
  • Various degrees of filtration (e.g., 2,0µ / 0,5µ / 0,2µ)
  • Lower labour costs thanks to automatic operation
  • Return of all useful material to the processes, hence also reducing the material costs
  • Lower waste-water costs

Modular construction allows implementation of randomly sized systems - both large and small.
