Decades of ceramic specialisation has made LIPPERT an expert in the tricky area of finishing / sponging. We therefore also engineer and implement finishing and sponging units for any number of different products, e.g.:

  and numerous special articles

Depending on the nature of the body and of the product, the ceramic trimming and fettling process differs from case to case. Most frequently, the product is first trimmed by means of some sort of abrasive material - Scotch-Brite, sand paper or trimming sheets – and then wiped down with a moist, rotating sponge. We even tailor the basic design of the machine to your individual requirements. Hence, you can choose between:

• turntable systems
• conveying systems
• individual (turn)tables in combination with handling robots
• robotic trimmers

Of course, all these options can also be integrated into automatic production lines by means of automatic loading and unloading units.
