| Innovative pressing concepts and complete
production lines
Building
on the many years of experience as a major ceramic plant engineering
contractor, LIPPERT has designed and developed a new kind
of press (patent pending) that does without a hydraulic system,
even for large pots.
This new series of presses relies exclusively on electro-mechanically
generated power and a screw roller for the transmission of
forces.
For a certain pressing force on up, two different drives
are employed for lowering the pressing head: a high-speed
motor for the vertical travel, and a powerful low-speed motor
for the pressing motion. All traveling and pressing movements
can be programmed and stored quickly and easily.
The draw arm, with its integrated fettling, smoothing and
stamping fixture, is mechanically linked to the pressure stroke,
so the press cannot open against the arm. The pots are not
knocked out, but instead lifted out of the bottom-half mould
by a suction head on the draw arm. This ensures superior-quality
bases.
Main
merits
- maximal availability and minimal maintenance thanks to
the absence of a hydraulic system
- low energy consumption and long service life thanks to
smaller, optimized drives
- high product quality thanks to stepless programmability
of all pressing data
- high product quality thanks to suction-head settings
- fully flexible production thanks to quick retooling via
stored (optimized) product pressing data
- fast, reliable pressing cycles thanks to mechanical linkage
of pressure stroke and draw arm
- complete production lines
Of
course LIPPERT also has numerous associated components and
modules to offer, e.g.,
- slug cutters, magazines and placers
-
scrap conveyors
dryers with automatic loading and unloading functions
- kiln loading and unloading systems
- getting and storing systems
- handling systems
