Bag sortation system supplied to one of Europe’s leading courier, express mail and parcel services
Bag sortation as part of a combined bag and parcel sortation system. The bags run from the loading stations via the point of entry into the upper-level Rota-Sorter® specifically designed for bag handling. Terminal station for the goods are bag bins followed by gravity storage sections.

 

Poly-goods packaging lines
The poly-goods are forwarded in a target-controlled manner by two automated packaging lines from twenty loading stations designed as a flap belt, and are first forwarded to the shrink-wrapper and then to the existing returns sorter.

Transfer for bags from automatic packing machines to sorter feed lines
The bagged, flat-lying goods progress directly from the automatic packing machines onto the outflow conveyors heading for their destinations: the automatic feed lines of a cross-belt sorter.

 

Handling and transfer sections for returns processing

Outfeed of the bags from the automatic bag packaging department and forwarding to the returns container sorting and filling department, followed by stacking of the filled returns containers.
