The daily volumes of bags and packages are processed on two different sorter lines by the ROTA-Sorter® system. The deciding factors chosen for this ROTA-Sorter® system were maximum availability and flexible sorting technology, to meet the task of sorting volumes of that magnitude within the very brief time windows available. The end points of the partial flows are linked with each other. That way, the bags and packages are reassembled for identical destinations.

The folded product boxes to be sorted are loaded into the handling system at an I point and forwarded through a sorting circuit with integrated buffer function for discharging by ROTA-Sorters®. The system currently features eight terminal stations and can be upgraded to a total of thirteen terminal stations. After discharging, the folded product boxes are packaged ready for shipment and automatically hauled off.
